Annie Ross, born Annabelle McCauley Allan Short on July 25, 1930 in Surrey, England, was a British-American singer and actress known for being part of the jazz vocal trio Lambert, Hendricks & Ross. She began her career at age three and later moved to Los Angeles with her aunt Ella Logan. Her adulthood film roles included 'Liza' in Straight On till Morning (1972) and 'Claire' in Alfie Darling (1975). She died on July 21, 2020 in New York City at the age of 89.
