Marisa Mell (born Marlies Theres Moitzi on February 24, 1939 in Graz, Austria) was an Austrian actress who gained cult status for her roles in Italian B-movies of the 1960s. After surviving a serious car accident and subsequent plastic surgery in 1963, she turned down a Hollywood contract citing its restrictive terms. She is best known for playing Eva Kant in 'Danger: Diabolik' (1968) and appeared alongside Pernell Roberts in the ill-fated musical 'Mata Hari'. Mell's work gained renewed attention through MST3K in the late 1990s before she passed away from throat cancer in Vienna at age 53 on May 16, 1992.
