In the Welsh town of Aberystwyth in 1911, Solomon, a young Jewish man, arrives to sell fabrics door-to-door. He meets Gaenor, a demure young woman with a strong-willed father and an anti-Semitic brother named Ianto. They fall in love, and she becomes pregnant before learning about Solomon's ethnicity. When anti-Jewish riots erupt, they are forced to flee together but eventually become separated.
Set against the backdrop of early 20th century Wales, 'Solomon and Gaenor' is a poignant tale of forbidden love between a young Jewish man and a Welsh woman. The film explores themes of racial prejudice, cultural tensions, and the power of love amidst adversity.
