Nia Roberts' acting career began with her breakthrough role in 'Solomon and Gaenor' (1999), a film featuring dialogue in Welsh and Yiddish, which won Best Film at the Verona Film Festival and was Oscar-nominated for Best Foreign Language Film. She has since appeared in various Welsh-language films like 'Fondue', 'Rhyw a Deinosors!', and TV shows such as 'Pobol y Cwm'.
