Holly Marie Combs, born on December 3rd, 1971, moved to New York at age seven where her striking appearance led to work in print ads and commercials. This experience sparked her desire to act, a passion shared by her mother. After landing the lead role of Kimberly in TV drama 'Picket Fences' (1992), which aired for four years, Combs won critical acclaim and a Young Actors award. Following its conclusion, she appeared in various TV movies before marrying Bryan Travis Smith in 1997. However, their marriage ended the same year, prompting Combs to seek more challenging roles. In 1998, friend Shannen Doherty introduced her to 'Charmed,' and she landed the role of Piper Halliwell, propelling her to worldwide fame. Currently, Combs resides in Burbank with her husband and their three sons.
