Holly Marie Combs moved to New York at age 7, where her striking looks led to print ads and commercials work before she developed an interest in acting. Her mother, also young when Holly was born, supported this dream. After initial bit parts, Holly secured a leading role as Kimberly in 'Picket Fences' (1992), which aired for four years and earned her critical acclaim and a Young Actors award. Post-'Picket Fences', she continued acting in TV movies. She married Bryan Travis Smith but divorced in 1997. In 1998, Holly's friend Shannen Doherty introduced her to 'Charmed', leading to her iconic role as Piper Halliwell. She lives in Burbank with her husband and three sons.
