In 'Insecure', Issa (Issa Rae) and Molly (Yvonne Orji), childhood friends now in their late twenties, navigate life's challenges while living in their hometown of Los Angeles. Issa works at a non-profit organization for middle-school aged students of color, 'We Got Y'all', struggling to rekindle the spark with her long-term boyfriend Lawrence (Jay Ellis), who has been coasting since his start-up company failed.
