Keira Knightley, born March 26, 1985, in London to actors Will Knightley and Sharman Macdonald, began her acting career at age six with commercials and television films. She gained worldwide recognition for her role as Elizabeth Swann in the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' series (2003-2007). Notable performances include her Academy Award-nominated roles in 'Pride & Prejudice' (2005) and 'The Imitation Game' (2014). In war-torn London, Welsh poet Dylan Thomas rekindles his relationship with childhood sweetheart Vera Phillips, now a cabaret singer.
