Jennifer Jason Leigh, born Jennifer Leigh Morrow on February 5, 1962, began her career in television during the 1970s before gaining recognition for her role in 'Fast Times at Ridgemont High' (1982). She received critical acclaim for performances in films like 'Last Exit to Brooklyn' (1989), 'Miami Blues' (1990), and 'Single White Female' (1992). Leigh also co-wrote, directed, and starred in 'The Anniversary Party' (2001) with Alan Cumming. Notable roles include 'Road to Perdition' (2002), 'Margot at the Wedding' (2007), and 'Weeds' (2009–2012). She was nominated for Golden Globes and an Academy Award for her roles in 'Mrs Parker and the Vicious Circle' (1994) and 'The Hateful Eight' (2015). Recently released from prison, Junior Fred Frenger arrives in Miami with plans to start a new life. However, he immediately gets into trouble when he kills a man at the airport and flees the scene. He meets Susie Waggoner, a prostitute seeking stability, and they begin a romantic relationship. Junior steals a badge and gun from veteran detective Sgt Hoke Moseley, assuming his identity to embark on a crime spree while convincing Susie he's the perfect man. Meanwhile, Moseley is on Junior's trail, determined to catch him despite his advancing age and the increasingly violent nature of Miami's crimes.
