Recently released from prison, Junior Fred Frenger arrives in Miami with plans to start a new life. However, he immediately gets into trouble when he kills a man at the airport and flees the scene. He meets Susie Waggoner, a prostitute seeking stability, and they begin a romantic relationship. Junior steals a badge and gun from veteran detective Sgt Hoke Moseley, assuming his identity to embark on a crime spree while convincing Susie he's the perfect man. Meanwhile, Moseley is on Junior's trail, determined to catch him despite his advancing age and the increasingly violent nature of Miami's crimes.

概要
Miami Blues (1990) is a neo-noir thriller directed by George Armitage, set against the backdrop of violent 1980s Miami. The film follows Junior Fred Frenger, a recently released thief who plans to start anew but quickly descends into crime again. He meets and romances Susie Waggoner while eluding the pursuing Sgt Hoke Moseley, an aging detective struggling with Miami's escalating criminal activity.
