Viju Krem starred as Sardu, the master of ceremonies at the Theater of the Macabre in New York's Soho district, where he presented torture and dismemberment acts that were believed to be fake by audiences but were actually real. Behind the scenes, Sardu and his assistant Ralphus abused women for their pleasure and sold abducted girls into slavery. When a critic named Creasy Silo dismissed the show, Sardu had him kidnapped and tortured.
