Tory Lane was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1982. She began training in classical ballet at age six and later graduated from Broward Community College with an Associate's Degree in Business. Before entering the adult film industry, she worked as a bartender, waitress at Hooters, and stripper. Lane made her debut in pornography in 2004 with 'The Young & The Raunchy'. She married Rick Shameless in 2005 but was fired by her agent due to the relationship. They annulled their marriage later that year. Lane continued stripping and acting independently, running a website where she interacts with fans. In 2006, she was a finalist on Playboy's 'Jenna's American Sex Star' reality show. In 2007, she signed a two-year contract with Sin City but left the following year.
