Susanne Benton, born Hildur on February 3, 1948 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, is a retired Canadian actress known for her roles as General Dreedle's WAC in 'Catch-22' (1970) and Quilla June Holmes in 'A Boy and His Dog' (1975). Born to a jazz pianist father who raised her after his separation from Benton's mother when she was two, Benton believed since the age of six that she would become a major star but die before turning 28. She used her birth name, Susanne Hildur, in some early roles like 'The Strangers in 7A' (1972) and an episode of 'Barnaby Jones' (1973). Despite refusing to disrobe for roles, she posed nude for Playboy in 1970. She married James Benton in 1966 but they later divorced, and she subsequently married David Rudich.
