Solveig Dommartin (May 16, 1961 - January 11, 2007) was a French-German actress born in Constantine, Algeria. She began her acting career in theater with 'Compagnie Timothee Laine' and 'Theater Labor Warschau'. Her film debut was in Wim Wenders' 'Wings of Desire' (1987), performing challenging acrobatics without a stunt double. Dommartin co-wrote 'Until the End of the World' (1991) with Wenders, traveling globally for locations. She died of a heart attack at 45, survived by her daughter Venus.
