She left Algeria at age 10 with her family during the Algerian Civil War and moved to France. Boutella is known for her work as a dancer, model, and actress. She has appeared in films such as 'Kingsman: The Secret Service' (2015), 'Star Trek Beyond' (2016), and played the main antagonist, Princess Ahmanet, in 'The Mummy' (2017).
