Sandrine Bonnaire, born May 31, 1967 in Gannat, Auvergne region of France, began her acting career at age 16. She starred in 'À nos amours' (1983), earning a César Award for Most Promising Actress. Her international breakthrough came with 'Vagabond' (1986) by Agnès Varda, winning another César. Bonnaire has appeared in over 40 films, working with notable directors like Patrice Leconte ('Monsieur Hire', 'Intimate Strangers').
