Samya De Lavor was born and raised in Fortaleza, Brazil. She attended the Federal University of Ceará and started her acting career on stage before transitioning to film. Her cinematic debut was with 'Com os Fists Clenched' (2014), but it was her performance in the acclaimed film 'Boi Neon' (2015) alongside Juliano Cazarré that brought her significant recognition.
