Rene Russo, born February 17, 1954 in Burbank, California, began her career as a fashion model in the 1970s before transitioning to acting. She made her film debut in 'Major League' (1989) and gained international prominence with roles in thrillers like 'Lethal Weapon 3', 'In the Line of Fire', 'Outbreak', 'Get Shorty', 'Ransom', and 'The Thomas Crown Affair'. After a five-year break, she returned to acting, notably playing Frigga in Marvel Cinematic Universe films. She won a Saturn Award for her role in 'Nightcrawler' (2014).
