Nicole Ari Parker (born October 7, 1970) is an American actress and model who gained prominence through her role as Bird Bennett on Showtime's drama series 'Soul Food' from 2000 to 2004. Early in her career, she appeared in several critically-acclaimed independent films such as 'The Incredibly True Adventure of Two Girls in Love' (1995), 'Boogie Nights' (1997), and '200 Cigarettes' (1999).
