Nichole Sakura, known professionally as Nichole Bloom, was born to a Japanese mother and an American father with Irish ancestry. She grew up in San Francisco, spending summers visiting relatives in Japan, before attending Santa Susana High School. After graduation, she attended the University of Southern California for three years, majoring in Theater. Sakura is best known for her role as Cheyenne Thompson on NBC's Superstore (2015-2021). She also played Amanda in Shameless from 2014 to 2016.
