Natasha Lyonne, born Natasha Bianca Braunstein on April 4, 1979, is an American actress known for her distinctive raspy voice and tough persona. She began her career as a child actress before gaining prominence in the late 1990s with roles in films like 'Everyone Says I Love You' (1996), 'Slums of Beverly Hills' (1998), 'But I'm a Cheerleader' (1999), and 'American Pie' (1999). Lyonne achieved wider recognition for her portrayal of Nicky Nichols in the Netflix series 'Orange Is the New Black' (2013–2019). She has also starred in and co-created 'Russian Doll' (2019–2022) on Netflix, and currently appears in 'Poker Face' (2023–present) on Peacock. Her work has earned her five Emmy Award nominations and two Golden Globe Award nominations.
