Montserrat Prous, known professionally as Linda Vargas, was born and raised in Barcelona, Spain. She gained fame for her role in 'Le journal intime d'une nymphomane' (1973). Little is known about her early life, but it's believed she had a troubled past involving sexual assault at a fairground during her youth. This trauma led her to a spiral of sex and drugs. She worked in a lesbian bar with Maria Toledano and seduced men before calling the police and taking her own life.
