Full Biography
Merle Palmiste, born on November 1, 1970 in Tallinn, Estonia, is an Estonian stage, film, and television actress. She graduated from Tallinn Conservatory (now Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre) in 1992. Palmiste made her feature film debut in 'Jüri Rumm' (1994), followed by notable roles in 'Karu süda' (2001) as Grey One, and 'Väikelinna detektiivid ja valge daami saladus' (2013) as Karin Viisla. She has also appeared in several foreign language films and numerous Estonian short films. Palmiste was previously in a long-term relationship with Alex Lepajõe, with whom she has a daughter Elisabeth Berthel born in 1996.
