She gained widespread recognition playing the title character on CBS/CW's superhero series 'Supergirl' (2015-2021). Benoist has appeared in films like 'Whiplash' (2014), 'Danny Collins' (2015), and 'The Longest Ride' (2015), and portrayed Michelle Jones, wife of David Koresh, in the miniseries 'Waco' (2018).
