Marimar Vega, born into Mexico's acting legacy as the daughter of Gonzalo Vega and Leonora Sisto, began her career at age 17 with a theater debut alongside her father in 'Don Juan Tenorio'. She studied flamenco dance for twenty years and acting at CEFAC. Vega started on TV Azteca's 'Enamórate' (2003) as Fedra, followed by roles in telenovelas like 'Noche Eternal' (2007), 'Eternamente tuya' (2009), and 'Emperatriz' (2011). She acted in films such as 'Amor, dolor y viceversa' and starred in the Cannes-selected 'Daniel y Ana' (2009). Vega also had roles in plays like 'Perras'. Her brother-in-law Alberto Guerra played Mauricio in 'Emperatriz', now married to her sister Zuria Vega.
