Marie Ahrle, born in Germany, gained prominence for her role as Sigrid in the 1966 Swedish film 'Jag - en älskare'. The movie, based on a novel by Birgitta Stålnacke, revolves around Beatrice abandoning her impotent husband Petar to live with her lover Isac. Petar, after meeting Sigrid and their daughter Lolly at his friend Ole's country house, overcomes his impotence by seducing both mother and daughter.
