Maria Pia Conte, born Maria Pia Vaccarezza in Genoa, Italy, spent her youth in Sestri Levante before moving to Genoa to study classical ballet. She began acting as a child but gained prominence as a fotoromanzi model. In 1962, she graduated from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia and made her film debut in 'La colpa e la pena' (1961). Throughout her career, she appeared in various films and TV series often in secondary roles, sometimes credited as Mary P. Count. She was also active as a voice actress and dubber. Known for her role in 'Operazione Kappa: sparate a vista' (1977), she retired from acting in the late 1970s. She was married to actor Giuseppe Rinaldi and is the mother of actress Francesca Rinaldi.
