Madeleine Madden, born January 29, 1997, is an Australian actress with Indigenous heritage, being the great-granddaughter of Arrernte elder Hetty Perkins and granddaughter of activist Charles Perkins. She began her acting career at age eight, and in 2010, at thirteen, she delivered a speech on Indigenous Australians that was broadcast nationwide. Madden has appeared in several notable Australian productions, including 'Redfern Now', 'The Moodys', 'Jack Irish', 'My Place', and 'The Code'. She starred as Marion Quade in the miniseries 'Picnic at Hanging Rock' (2018) and played Sammy in the Hollywood film 'Dora and the Lost City of Gold' (2019).
