Linh Dan Pham was born in Saigon, Vietnam in 1974 and moved to France with her parents when she was one year old. She gained significant recognition at age 18 after starring as the adopted child of a French woman in French-ruled Vietnam in the Oscar-winning film 'Indochine' (1992). After graduating from university where she studied commerce, Pham worked as a senior marketing manager in New York, Singapore, and Vietnam before residing in London. She also attended acting classes at the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York.
