Liana Mendoza was born on November 19th in Los Angeles, California, to Vicente Fernández, a national treasure and legendary singer-songwriter. She began her artistic journey as a ballet dancer at age three, joining a ballet company at ten, and later attending Hamilton High School's Academy of Music and Performing Arts. After graduating, she played Disney's Princess Jasmine onstage in Anaheim. Mendoza pursued acting at Pace University but also harbored aspirations to write, produce, and direct. She attended NYU Tisch School of the Arts on scholarship, learning from esteemed faculty like Judd Apatow and Ang Lee. Her acting career began onstage, later transitioning to television with prominent roles in 'Internet Dating', 'Bones', 'Scandal', and 'Better Call Saul'. She gained significant recognition for her role in 'American Horror Story', followed by notable guest appearances in shows like 'Ray Donovan' and 'Unsolved'. Mendoza also starred in the feature film 'Social Disturbance', which she executive produced. Off-screen, she is a full-time producer, mentors at-risk youth through programs such as Students Run LA, and fosters animals.
