Lídia Brondi Resende Mendes, born on October 29, 1960 in Campinas, Brazil, is a Brazilian psychologist and former actress. She gained recognition for her role as Selminha in the 1981 film 'O Beijo No Asfalto'. The movie tells the story of Arandir, played by Bruno Garcia, who is falsely accused of homosexuality after he kisses the body of a pedestrian hit by a bus. Brondi's character, Selminha, is Arandir's wife.
