Born on January 17, 1980, in Detroit, Michigan, Kimberly Spicer is an American model and actress who rose to fame in the late 1990s. Growing up with an early ambition to model—inspired by her admiration for Cindy Crawford—she attended modeling school and began her career in the pageant circuit. In 1998, she achieved local recognition by winning the Miss Michigan Hawaiian Tropic pageant.
Spicer’s mainstream breakthrough came when she was selected as the Playboy Playmate of the Month for June 1999. This selection was notable as she holds the distinction of being the first Playmate born in the 1980s. Before her success with Playboy, she worked various service jobs, including shifts as a waitress at Hooters and an Italian restaurant in Michigan.
Following her initial centerfold appearance, she continued to work with the brand, appearing in several Playboy videos such as Playmates Unwrapped and the Playmate Calendar 2001, where she was featured as Miss October. Throughout her career, the 5'6" (1.68 m) brunette also posed for various newsstand special editions and made appearances at industry events like Glamourcon.
