Katell Laennec, born in France, starred in the Italian horror film 'Malabimba' (1979). The movie, directed by Andrea Bianchi, follows a dysfunctional aristocratic family who accidentally summon a malicious spirit instead of their late matriarch during a séance. The spirit possesses Bimba, the teenage daughter of Andrea Caroli, leading to her sexually provocative and aggressive behavior. Laennec played the role of Adolfo, Bimba's uncle and Andrea's brother, who becomes one of her victims.
