She appeared in films such as Outcast (2010), Not Another Happy Ending (2013), Oculus (2013), Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017), and Jumanji: The Next Level (2019), among others. Gillan also wrote, directed, and starred in the drama film The Party's Just Beginning (2018). Her TV credits include Selfie (2014) and Douglas Is Cancelled (2024).
