Julia Fox was born on February 2, 1990, to an Italian mother and American father in Milan, Italy. She moved to New York City at age six with her father and attended City-As-School High School. Prior to acting, she worked various jobs including a dominatrix for six months, designed clothing under Franziska Fox, modeled for Playboy, and exhibited photography books Symptomatic of a Relationship Gone Sour: Heartburn/Nausea (2015) and PTSD (2016).
