Jodie Foster, born Alicia Christian Foster on November 19, 1962, is an American actress and filmmaker. She began her career as a child model and actor, appearing in films like 'Napoleon and Samantha' (1972) and 'Freaky Friday' (1976). Foster gained significant recognition for her role in Martin Scorsese's 'Taxi Driver' (1976), earning an Academy Award nomination. After attending Yale University, she transitioned into mature roles, winning two Oscars for 'The Accused' (1988) and 'The Silence of the Lambs' (1991). Foster has also directed films such as 'Little Man Tate' (1991), 'Home for the Holidays' (1995), and 'Money Monster' (2016), and founded her own production company, Egg Pictures.
