Joana Ribeiro was born on March 25, 1992, in Lisbon, Portugal to an engineer father and veterinarian mother. She initially studied architecture but switched to acting, signing with Lisbon Elite agency. Ribeiro's breakout role was as Mariana Côrte-Real in 'Dancin' Days'. She also starred in 'Sol de Inverno', the cancelled Amazon series 'The Dark Tower', films like 'Fatima' and 'Infinite', and will appear in 'The Man Who Fell to Earth'. Notably, she was selected as one of the ten 'Shooting Stars' at the Berlin Film Festival in 2020.
