Jess Darrow was born in Miami, Florida, of Cuban descent. Her acting career began with her first film role as Sarah in 'Feast of the Seven Fishes' (2019). She gained significant recognition voicing Luisa Madrigal in Disney's animated feature 'Encanto' (2021), singing the popular song 'Surface Pressure'. Darrow also voiced Mimi in Grand Theft Auto Online's update 'Los Santos Tuners' (2021). Her role in 'Fifteen-Love' series is that of Justine Pearce, a former rising star in elite tennis who reached the French Open semifinals at age 17.
