Jennifer Anne Garner, born April 17, 1972 in Houston, Texas, raised in Charleston, West Virginia, attended Denison University for theater and acted as an understudy at Roundabout Theatre Company before her screen debut in Danielle Steel's 'Zoya' (1995). She gained prominence playing CIA officer Sydney Bristow in ABC's 'Alias' (2001-2006), earning a Golden Globe and four Emmy nominations. Her notable films include 'Daredevil', 'Elektra', 'Juno', 'Valentine's Day', 'The Invention of Lying', 'Dallas Buyers Club', and 'Yes Day'. Garner is also an activist for early childhood education, co-founder of organic baby food company Once Upon a Farm, and advocate against paparazzi harassment.
