Isabelle Mejias, born in 1961 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, began her acting career with her first role in the 1980 film 'Girls'. She gained significant recognition for her performance in 'Unfinished Business', earning a Genie Award nomination for Best Actress in 1985. Mejias left acting in 1993 and transitioned into directing and producing, working predominantly from the mid-1990s to around 2011. Currently, she serves as the Executive Director of Mending Kids.
