Heidi Thomas is a British screenwriter and playwright known for adapting classic literature like 'Madame Bovary' (2000) and 'I Capture the Castle' (2003), as well as creating popular TV series such as 'Upstairs Downstairs' (2010) and 'Call the Midwife' (2012).
