Gio Petré, born Ann-Mari Birgitta Bengtsdotter Petré, was a Swedish actress who debuted at age 18 in 'Flottans muntergökar' (1955). She came from a family of artists and studied acting for a year at Gösta Terserus theatre school before being accepted into the Royal Dramatic Theatre School, graduating in 1959. Throughout her career, she appeared in over 27 films and TV productions, often playing sensual and provocative roles such as 'Mannequin' in 'Vaxdockan', 'Diana' in 'Diana går på jakt', and 'Inger' in 'Den onda cirkeln'. Notably, she starred in the erotic drama 'Ann och Eve - de erotiska' (1970), a story involving a young bride-to-be, debauchery, degradation with a dwarf, and other controversial elements.
