Gemma Atkinson, born in Bury, Greater Manchester, began her career as a commercial and photographic model after completing her GCSEs at Castlebrook High School. She gained fame playing Lisa Hunter in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks, and later starred in its spin-off series Hollyoaks: Let Loose and Hollyoaks: In The City. Atkinson has also appeared in various TV shows, films, and video games throughout her career.
