Ellen Helinder was born and raised in Karlstad, Sweden, before moving to cities like London, Oslo, and Stockholm for her acting career. She started performing at age ten, debuting at Värmlandsteatern in her hometown. After studying acting techniques such as the Chubbuck and Meisner methods, she landed roles in popular Swedish series like 'Gåsmamman' (2016) and 'Sommaren med släkten' (2020). Her breakthrough came with 'Exit' (2019), a series based on true stories from Norway's financial scene. Helinder played Magdalena, one of the main roles in the third season. She won Best Actress at the Across the Globe Festival and was nominated for Best Swedish Female Actor at the Västerås Film Festival for her role in 'Homecoming' (2019). Additionally, she debuted as a filmmaker with the documentary 'Little Big Brother' in 2020.
