Elizabeth Teissier (née Germaine Elizabeth Hanselmann), born January 6, 1938, is a French astrologer, former model, and actress. Born to Swiss and French parents, she gained a Master's in Modern Literature in 1963 and acted in films between 1965 and 1975, including 'Castle Keep' directed by Sydney Pollack. She became a student of astrologer Henri Joseph Gouchon on Federico Fellini's advice in 1968. Teissier had several astrological columns and TV appearances from 1975 to 2009, advising French President François Mitterrand. She published books on astrology but faced controversies due to her doctorate in sociology and lawsuits involving Wikimedia Foundation.
