Elena Nathanail, born Éleyna Nathaïl on January 19, 1947 in Greece, was a prominent Greek actress known for her striking beauty and talent. She began her acting career in the mid-1960s with roles in films like 'Kati na kaiei' (1964) and 'The Blood of the Walsungs' (1965). Nathanail gained critical acclaim for her role in 'Rendezvous with an Unknown' (1968), earning her the Best Actress Award at the International Thessaloniki Film Festival. In the 1970s, she established herself as a free-spirited and beautiful young woman on screen and became a fashion icon. However, the decline of Greek commercial cinema impacted her career. After a seven-year hiatus, Nathanail returned to acting with straight-to-video movies and television roles such as 'Aggigma psyhis' (1998) and 'Gorgones' (2007). Her last role was in the TV series 'Gorgones'. She passed away on March 4, 2008.
