Actress Dani Minnick began her career with small TV roles, notably appearing in the Emmy-nominated 'A Rumor of War' (1980). She gained widespread recognition as a model for Virginia Slims cigarettes from 1983 to 1987. Subsequently, Minnick returned to acting, starring in daytime soap 'Days of Our Lives' in 1993 and horror films like 'From the Dead of Night' (1989) and 'The Sleeping Car' (1990). In recent years, she has transitioned into filmmaking, directing the award-winning independent feature 'Falling Like This' (2001) and completing work on a documentary about Kim Stanley.
