Corinne Yam starred in 'Love and Bruises' (2011). The film portrays Hua, a Chinese university student in Paris who is dumped by her lover. She meets Mathieu, a French worker who accidentally hits her face with pipes he's carrying. Mathieu invites Hua to dinner, rapes her afterward, but accompanies her home. Despite this, they begin an unstable relationship based on strong sexual desire. Mathieu tests Hua's fidelity through his friend Giovanni, who also rapes her.
