Cheri Caffaro, born in Miami, Florida in 1945, rose to fame as a model during the 60s after winning a Brigitte Bardot lookalike contest while a teenager. She gained significant notoriety in exploitation cinema of the 70s for her roles, notably as undercover government agent Ginger McAllister in three films: Ginger (1971), The Abductors (1972), and Girls Are for Loving (1973). Caffaro also played diverse roles such as a spoiled rich woman in 'A Place Called Today' (1972) and a revolutionary in 'Savage Sisters' (1974).
