Cemre Ebuzziya, born into a Turkish family of artists and intellectuals, is the daughter of actress Nilgün Utku. Her parents divorced before her birth. She attended Istanbul Pierre Loti Private School until 17, where lessons were taught mainly in French. Subsequently, she studied at North Carolina School of the Arts Conservatory in the USA. Ebuzziya's acting debut was in the Turkish TV series 'Muhtesem Yüzyil' (2012), followed by her first feature film role in 'Bulanti' (2015). She has worked with notable directors such as Zeki Demirkubuz and Ferzan Özpetek.
